lesson cancellation policy

We understand unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:


24 Hours’ Notice

24-hour advance notice is required when cancelling a lesson. Giving 24 hours’ notice provides the opportunity for someone else to schedule a lesson in your reserved time. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount for your lesson. Lessons cancelled outside of 24 hours will be eligible for rescheduling and will not count against your series if applicable.


No-shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their lesson for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” Your lesson will be considered used.


Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your lesson will be shortened in order to accommodate others whose lessons follow yours. Regardless of the length of the lesson actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” lesson. Out of respect and consideration to your instructor and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time. Remember, warm-up balls are included with the lesson so if you have time, come early and get loosened up.


Weather

Weather plays a big role in the enjoyment and safety of a lesson. If lightening is spotted the lesson will be stopped immediately. If a lesson begins and is stopped due to weather, the lesson will resume upon the weather clearing or the remaining time will be added to another lesson. If inclement weather is nearing Blackthorn Golf Course, please call your instructor to discuss options to coordinate a decision to postpone or continue the lesson as scheduled. If the weather stays clear and you don’t call/don’t show it will result in a no-show and the lesson will count.
